Central to the NAPSG Foundation mission is to promote collaboration between the public safety & homeland security communities and the private sector around issues relevant to our mission and objectives. We view the private sector as an integral member of the homeland security & national security fabric.
Making NAPSG Foundation programs successful require that we partner with the right individuals and companies from the private sector. We define the private sector as consisting of two separate groups:
- Solution & service providers - includes sectors that provide products, services and solutions (including but not limited to technology) to public safety, government and business
- Business owners and operators - includes, but not limited to, sectors that include overs/operators of critical infrastructure, industries that use and/or general public safety data/information, and industries that employ private emergency response brigades
We have identified several ways for the private sector to partner with us, including but not limited:
- Joining the NAPSG Foundation Annual Private Partners Program
- Providing a sponsorship for a special event
- Collaborating in a regional information sharing or public safety GIS project
- Providing valuable industry expertise through the Private Sector Advisory Committee
There are many ways that the private sector can work with us to further their support for enhanced public safety and homeland security.
