NAPSG is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the National Geospatial Preparedness Summit (NGPS), the inaugural preparedness Summit dedicated to advancing the use of location-enabled decision support technology and data. The Summit will be held AugustĀ 4th and 5th, 2015 in Washington, DC. The NGPS will bring together a select 150 public safety practitioners and GIS responders from across the Nation – to forge collaboration, solve information sharing challenges, and discuss ways to better apply location-enabled decision support tools in planning and operations. The Summit will feature multiple tracks of training, a tabletop exercise, a workshop on Next Generation 911, and other educational sessions.
