On May 19, 2015, the National Alliance for Public Safety GIS Foundation (NAPSG) and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) co-hosted a virtual training session that provided an overview of MutualAidNet and how it can be used to enhance mutual aid planning, readiness, and deployment at the local and state levels. The training session included a real-world demonstration of how MutualAidNet is being used by local and state public safety agencies and highlighted the use of its location-enabled tools that aid decision making for effective resource management.
