On September 25th, 2025, NAPSG Foundation co-hosted a Rapid Response Data Briefing with the Federation of American Scientists, Association of Public Data Users, and dataindex.us. This webinar focused on supporting DHS’s call for use cases on HIFLD Secure, and it featured insights from state, local, and industry leaders who have successfully navigated the transition, offering practical strategies and lessons learned.
In this webinar, participants explored new and emerging data layers uncovered through the DHS Crosswalk initiative, and contributed valuable feedback to help shape the future of HIFLD Secure.
Call to Action
The Geospatial Management Office is requesting help from the community to prioritize renewals of existing layers, data updates and enhancements, and new procurements. You may provide feedback by logging into the DHS Geospatial Information Infrastructure (GII) and completing the DHS GMO form (preferred method). Alternatively, those without GII access may provide feedback by using NAPSG’s form.
